Providence is a congregation committed to the historic and
biblical "doctrines of grace" that are the basis of our
Southern Baptist heritage. We adhere to the 1689 New London
Baptist Confession, The Baptist Faith & Message and the
Cambridge Declaration.
In these days of apostasy a lot of churches are influenced by culture more than Scripture and appealing to the carnal and unregenerate desires of men. While the desire to be "seeker sensitive" is focused on man, our desire is to be "God sensitive" in the sense that we focus on God. We focus on God by singing the grand doctrinal hymns and expository preaching. Scripture alone is the inerrant rule of the church's life in seeking God, not the culture!
Pastor Brad Richardson was converted under the ministry of First Southern Baptist Church, Hutchinson, Kansas. He has pastored churches in Nickerson, Kansas, Larned Kansas and Batesburg, South Carolina. He holds degrees from Bethany Bible College, Dothan, Alabama, and Louisiana Baptist University, Shreveport, Louisiana.
